What a summer!

There has been so much going on this summer! Mostly with the youth as usual, but honestly that's the best part. Summer Camp was first on the summer to do list and it was fantastic! God really moved in the hearts of most of our students and I thank Him for that! They got to see hundreds of students pouring their hearts out to Christ in unison during worship, listen to Matt speak about not standing still but MOVING for Christ, and experience new friendships. I love to just sit back and see God work. It is super cool.

Other than that we have been doing various projects with the youth, getting to know them better, and "remodeling" the youth area. We were at the church until about 2 am painting and it is just about completed. We invited any youth that wanted to help to come and we would paint, have pizza, and just hang out. So, of course when you get a couple of youth leaders and lots of crazy teens together with paint....well....you know. It was a blast!

We also gave our cat Chloe to Adam's parents, she now is loving life on the farm! And sadly My family put our 15 year-old dog to sleep last Tuesday. She was a great doggie!

In the midst of the craziness we have been having a great summer so far! Our high school mission trip to Philidelphia is in just about 2 weeks and I can't wait!

I guess that is about it for the summer so far!
